Before & After Examples
Direct Vent Fireplaces are becoming the “standard” fireplace in houses for the last 20 years. They will have a fixed piece of glass on the front of it. If it’s newer than 2015 it will also have a screen in front of the glass. The screen is a safety screen that will not exceed 172 degrees. It is there to prevent anyone or anything to touch the glass while the fireplace is running. The majority of these fireplaces will use a light switch to turn them on or off.
